Inkscapes are my meditation, my ritual, my process, a portrait of a moment in time interacting with the space it inhabits:

I am a process based artist, and painting is a ritual I perform that anchors me both to my environment, as well as my subconscious. All of my paintings begin with a meditation where I acquaint myself with the atmosphere and tone of the space; my paintings, which I always complete in one sitting, are like an extension or an archive of that meditation. My compositions are often framed around the “sub-environments” of a larger space; a corner of a room, or a single chair; finding the personality of a place in its details.
